               1. The Effects of the Internet on Our Brains!

This post was my top favorite post of the year because I felt like I was finally able to share my heart on the difficult topic of internet usage. I've never been able to open up with my heart on this subject, and it felt good to be able to share!

                       2Christian Heritage Conference 2014!

The Christian Heritage conference is one of my favorite times of the year, and it was especially fun to spend lots of time with great friends once again this year.

I thought of this poem when I was washing my hands one night. Our sink had a clogged drain, and I was trying to fix it. I keep thinking about how sometimes our lives get all clogged up, and no one can see our true purpose. How we let mistakes, and failures cause us to be weighed down, and we cease to make a difference in the lives of people around us.

Each year for my birthday I enjoy watching Anne of Green Gables, and this past year, I found many new insights and applications from the movie! I'm always inspired when I watch it!

Even though I didn't post this until this year, I still view the National Bible Bee as one of the biggest highlights of 2014! There's always SO much to be grateful for in the Bible Bee!

This 30 day series had SUCH a big impact on last year. I learned so many things from the teachings, and I will forever be grateful for the many blessings I have received last year!

This story is so meaningful, and encouraging. I was SO inspired by the lessons I learned from this story! May God help us all to stand strong in Him!

The lessons we can learn from a simple cake. I still think about this analogy every time I bake something. Lord, help me be grateful for the fires of life!

What a big highlight of the year. I feel like this should be higher on the list of my top favorites. There were SO may blessings, and answers to prayers in the details of the party. I learned SO much about trusting the Lord with the details of life, and for that I will be eternally grateful!

And lastly, for my top 10 favorite posts of the year, drum roll please:) ……..

This past summer was SO wonderful! I keep remembering it fondly in my mind. The joys, and encouragement of being with good friends. Memories I will forever cherish!

Bonus Post:) - I just have to add this post even though it's not in my top 10 favorites:)

I Want To Make Much of You!

As always every year I desire to make Christ my first and only focus! I desire His name to be glorified, and lifted high in my life. 2014 was a year of great lessons, much joy, and overall a great encouragement and refreshment in my walk with Christ. The biggest lessons I learned were to keep focused on Christ, and take another step even when it feels like you can't move anymore!

"As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. (Psalms 17:15 KJV)
